DFI Retail Group is a leading Asian retailer that operates a portfolio of well-known brands across five key divisions: health and beauty, convenience, food, home furnishings and restaurants. The principal brands are: 7-Eleven, Mannings, Guardian, Wellcome, IKEA and Maxim’s. DFIQ Media is the omnichannel retail media arm of DFI Retail Group with presence in Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam.

Founded in Hong Kong in 1886, DFI Retail Group is a leading Asian retailer with over 7,500 outlets across 12 markets and 81,000 team members. Guided by our purpose to “Sustainably Serve Asia for Generations with Everyday Moments”, we drive innovation and value across our portfolio of well-known brands for our customers, team members and shareholders.

How can members of this community potentially work with you?

We would like to work with IAB members to advance industry collaboration and participation in retail media – be it elevating basic awareness or usage of 1P audience segments for targeting to enhancing measurement – setting new industry standards for data-first advertising in Asia. 

Any interesting trivia about your company culture, founding story, or mission?

DFI Retail Group was incorporated in the 19th century with just HKD$30,000 and 80 cows. Originally founded to provide clean and affordable milk to improve public health in Hong Kong, we have since grown into one of Asia’s leading retail groups – a journey that started quite literally from the dairy farm.
